Why is Baby Cashmere Precious?
Low Productivity
Baby Cashmere is an exquisite and exceptionally rare fiber, sourced from the inner fleece of Hircus kid goats. Our baby cashmere comes from kid goats born and raised in Tibet.
Precious Fiber
The fine hair of baby goat very rare and precious because it could only be collected once in a lifetime for goat kids between three to twelve months old, through a delicate and completely harmless grooming process.
Animal Friendly
Goats roam freely on vast prairies, grazing and scaling mountains daily. As spring brings warmer weather from March to May, the goats naturally shed their fluffy coats, which the herders collect using iron combs. During the process, the kids remain calm and relaxed, experiencing no discomfort and even enjoying the process.
The Fluff Fiber of 19 Baby Goats = 1 Sweater
Each kid goat yields only 80 grams of inner fluff, in contrast to the 250 grams produced by adult goats. Once the rough outer fibers are removed, only 30 to 40 grams of usable fiber remain per kid. To make a sweater, the fluff from 19 kid goats suffices, while a coat requires 58 kids' worth of fluff.
How To Maintain Baby Cashmere?
  • The baby cashmere is breathable and lightweight, so it doesn't need to be washed frequently.
  • Be aware of the friction created by fabrics rubbing together to minimize pilling of the sweater.
  • Avoid using fabric softener.
